1985 born in Ratanda/Gauteng (South Africa)

1992 (aged seven) first musical experiences as lead and solo singer during masses in Ratanda Zion Church

1999 (aged fourteen) partnership with Sifo Ngwepe who brought choir singing to Ratanda. Together they established Junior Good Happiness Male Voice.

2005 (aged 20) co-founder of Lesedi Show Choir

2007 to date teaching African music and dance in Germany and performing as guest-conductor with the German Moko Choirs of Eva Buckman

2008 to date teaching South African music and dance at home and in various African countries, notably in Ghana, workshops with Winneba Youth Choir and Tema Youth Choir

2011 concert tour with Lesedi Show Choir upon invitation of the German international music festival Heidelberger Fruehling

2011-13 teaching South African music and dance in Kenya, workshops for Kenyan Boys Choir (this choir performed at the first inauguration of President Obama)

2013 participation in the Pan-African musical project Umoya Munye, concert tour through Southern Germany and participation at the International Choral Festival in Oetigheim (Baden/Germany)

2013 teaching South African music and dance in Ghana, workshops for Akoo Show Choir. With their repertoire largely inspired by Mokoena’s workshops, Akoo Show Choir won a nation-wide television contest in February 2014
